DEPENDENCIES

The build links against the operating system's C library, a wide-character
curses implementation, and OpenSSL-compatible TLS libraries. Their source
code is not bundled in this source distribution. Each dependency keeps its
own copyright notices, license terms, and security maintenance policy.

Common upstream references:

    ncurses:
        https://invisible-island.net/ncurses/
    OpenSSL:
        https://www.openssl.org/
    LibreSSL:

Consult the actual installed dependency version's license. Dependency
licenses are not replaced by the application's license. Distributors that
bundle or statically link dependency code must retain the notices and
comply with the licenses applicable to those exact dependency versions.

The test suite uses Python 3 for local integration tests. Python is not
required by the installed client executable.
